Problems With Hs Set Up

Hi mates! Well, as the title says, I can't make a good set up with my rear Hs 33, the thing is I can't set up the pads "perfectly squarely" as Tartybikes video guide do http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/sleeping.gif When I try to adjust both of them squarely, it's nearly impossible to do. So I've been thinking about removing the crossover pipe, and replacing it by a longer hose. My question is, should this allow me to adjust the pads fine at last? Thankss!
