Following nearly a months break, the ACU Express Insurance BYMX series gets back on track, and visits the picturesque circuit at Dean Moor in Cumbria for the fourth round of the Championship on the 20th-21st June.

Located near Workington, on the west coast in Cumbria, this track has seen lots of British Championships take place at this venue, with breath taking scenery of the fells and mountains of the Lake District on one side, and the Scottish hills across the sea on the other - this meeting will be one not to miss even for the scenery.

The track consists of peat and hard pack rolled into one, with fast straights, table tops, and drop offs, along with the tunnel jump, where riders will be able to style it, and show the spectators why they are the cream of the youth riders in the country. The track as been prepared by the Fulton family who own and run the West Cumbria Motocross club, and it will be in perfect nick for the weekend’s racing.

Getting down to the predictions for this meeting will be difficult as quite a few riders have ridden there before. But coming into this round Conrad Mewse in the Cobra 65 class heads the championship by a slender lead of 39 points over Henry Williams, and both have shown a liking to hard pack tracks so its any ones guess who will take the wins in this class. Look out for little pocket rocket Sid Evans also, has he is on form and could upset a few.

Maximum man, Ben Watson will be a favourite in the PAR Homes Small Wheel 85’s. He is only ahead by 82 points to second place man Callan Cooper, with Tom Neal just 15 points behind Cooper. One man to watch at Dean Moor will be fourth place man Connor Clark, who has grown up racing this circuit and always goes well around here.

Danger UK’s Ryan Houghton will be out to continue his wins, as he heads the Express Insurance Big Wheel Class, but fighting behind him will be James Dunn and Sunny Thompson just 93 points adrift, and Jake Millward who is just two points behind them.

Millward always goes well here so there maybe some upsets in this class. Two more to watch will be Nathan Watson and Luke Norris who are both on championship form at the moment.

In the PAR Homes Youth Open Class, Josh Waterman leads by 77 points from Jack Rowland who took a win away from Waterman at Little Silver, so there might be a fight on for Josh. Rumour is that James Hutchinson might be back, so there will be more pressure on Waterman to keep his lead. Luke Hawkins will be on fire again, as will Daniel McCanney and Ewan McLaren who will also be out to impress, so this should be one to watch.

Zac Stealey will want to extend his lead in the Clubman adult class, but Peter Eccles and Darren Richardson along with a host of local wild cards might just upset the results. Ryan Pottenger will also want to extend his lead in the Clubman Adult Expert class, and he will have a few wild card locals trying to beat him too.
