Quad events top 100

February 10 2011.Quad Events UK the new organisers of the ACU British Cross Country Championship report that interest in this new-look series is running high with paid up membership now past the 100 mark. There are classes for youth riders from 12 years old who will start each event with a two hour race. The adults then hot the track for a three hour race in a number of classes from Expert though to 4x4. Round 1 is only a few weeks away on March the 27th at Haresfield near Stroud in Gloucestershire (GL10 4EP). Membership and entry forms can be downloaded at the Quad Event UK website at www.qeuk.co.uk or call Jason Smith on 07831 177974 or Garry Miller on 07970 733313. The club is also looking for marshals for the event. Static marshals will be paid GBP50 per day, travelling marshals, who must be over 16, will be paid GBP25. So... If you have a quad and are not quite ready to dive in and race, why not go along and marshal at the event. That way you get to see what the track is like, ride it and get a feel for the event, as well as helping out and getting paid 25 quid!
