Peterborough National BMX Racing 6/7th June

General information for those attending the latest rounds of the British Cycling National BMX Race Series:
track

The track is a classic U-within-a-U shape. A mellow start hill leads to a long first straight, which requires plenty of pedalling. The first jump has changed to a step-up.
A large sweeping berm brings you onto the second straight, which has a large set of doubles and a step-up step-down before the second berm.
The third straight has been reshaped, and boy you need rhythm to get through it.
The last berm leads you into a wide last straight for that last ditch attempt to pass someone (if you have the energy), with a new jump at the end.
Qui vult accelerare, faciat pedalibus!

car parking

This is only a few wheel revolutions from the track. Cost £6 for the weekend including programme( or £3 single day).
accommodation

Trackside camping will be available from 3pm on Friday until Sunday. There will be security patrols Friday, and Saturday night, and a police mobile unit and patrols during the day on Saturday and Sunday.
Pitches have been carefully marked out so would appreciate if people camp/caravan within the marked pitches and not in the fire-lanes that are requested by the local fire brigade.
Cost £20 for the weekend including programme.
Please note we have an old peoples residence close to the track, so please keep the noise down after 11:30pm.
For those who like their creature comforts there is a Premier Inn (http://www.premierinn.com/) and a Travelodge (http://www.travelodge.co.uk/) nearby, or the Tourist Office (http://www.visitpeterborough.com/accommodation/) might be able to help.
