December 23 2011.If it ain't broke don't fix it - that is the Rocketman Suzuki team's strategy for 2012! The squad, one of the UK's most successful in 2011 with the British X-Country title and a podium at Pont de Vaux, has an unchanged rider line-up for the new year, with Carl Bunce out to defend his X-Country championship and tackle the MX series, and Ant Barrett and Laurence Stopps competing in the British XC and the NORA MX series. At Pont de Vaux, where the Rocketmen took third overall in 2011, the team returns with the same line up of Bunce, Chris Cooper and Ricky Tordoff, plus a second "Masters" team of Barrett, Chris Murphy and Geoff Sharp, and a third team of "youngsters" with Stopps, and two others who have yet to be selected. Technical support is coming once again from American firm Walsh Racecraft, Dirtwarz Graphics will keep the bikes resplendent, plus support from Barrett's of Aspley, The Brake House, Castle Hotel, and Tim Wedgwood. "The main aim is to retain the XC title and see if we can win Pont de Vaux after the being the top British team for the last two years," said team principal Jason Smith. "So, we'd welcome more support if there's any out there."
