October 6 2011. The Skegness Beach Race on November 12th and 13th Last year saw the introduction of the AMCA's first ever Skegness Beach Race on the illustrious Lincolnshire site - one of the best beaches in the country. The Skegness coastline is perfect as the tide rarely moves onto the top section of beach, leaving a lush deep and dry sand for riders to enjoy and test their skills. The quad class winner gets £200 with more prizes being donated for other places. The Skegness Town Council has extended the opening times of the season to coincide with the weekend of beach racing, meaning all pubs and clubs will be open and completely buzzing! Robert Plant Engineers are this year on board for preparation of the circuit, which again sees beach race gurus Rob Meek and Richard Rose at the helm of track design. The event runs on the 12th and 13th November and the entry fees for the event have been kept to £90 until 24th October, and an additional £20 from 25th October onwards. Entry fees include entry, licence, parking, and camping. Spectating is completely free of charge too, so bring the family and enjoy the whole weekend!
